Yummy variety of apple pie that is quick and easy. It was a hit with my boyfriend’s pals in university whenever I made this favorite! The apple filling was very juicy but not runny.Perfect! The thing is you always have to make a pie to know if it’s to your liking…This way next time you know how to improve it.For this one i will put more apples (i have used 7 cups this time) and maybe just a tad less crumb.
Ingredients:
- 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
- 5 cups apples – peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons butter
